Our People

All Consultants employed by Kim Nixon Consulting, have a social work or social science qualification with extensive, relevant and current knowledge and experience in the areas of child protection, OOHC, OOHC Adoptions, Guardianship, Restoration, and Investigations. The Company has deliberately targeted consultants with previous manager level experience and prior experience working with Department of Communities and Justice. Consequently, all staff have operational experience including giving expert evidence across several jurisdictions. In addition, our staff are located across Northern NSW, Southern NSW, Western NSW, Blue Mountains, Central Coast/Hunter, South West Sydney and Sydney, as well as Western Australia. 

All Consultants are members of professional bodies (including AASW and ACWA), have insurance including Professional Indemnity and Public Liability, and hold a current Working With Children Check and National Criminal Record Check. All staff understand and adhere to strict confidentiality requirements, including storage of records in locked cabinets.
