ASSESSMENTS

Quality Control for Assessment Services

The referral form for each type of assessment has a list of required documents at the end of the form. Each of these documents need to be provided before the due date for the assessment can be advised

All assessments completed for KNC are reviewed by a manager from within the service, prior to being delivered to the agency. This ensures the highest quality of assessments, including excellent analysis of the matter, with appropriate and realistic recommendations.

All other services provided by KNC are also subject to review, either through a paper based review of the reports or materials or through the delivery of ongoing quality professional supervision to our staff.

For all assessments (other than adoption assessments), if it becomes apparent that a positive recommendation can be made following the completion of a small number of additional tasks by the agency, the report is written in such a way that it can be used with an addendum attachment prepared by the agency, or update via an affidavit, following completion of these tasks. KNC prepare the reports in this way to prevent agencies being asked to fund a whole new assessment, following the completion of the additional tasks.
